Expeditions: Conquistador Reached It’s Kickstarter Goal!

The tactical RPG straight out of Demark has reached it’s Kickstarter goal and that means we’ll be heading to the Americas in Style! Developed by Logic Artists self described as  “A story-driven tactical roleplaying game with a touch of strategic resource management and a pinch of choose-your-own-adventure. “  Designed to be a throwback to the classic RPG’s of the 90’s  Logic Artists promises to rejuvenate the innovate that classic method!

We already had the chance to talk to the team at Logic Artists about the game! Fortunately though, Jonas Waever has given us another exclusive interviews, talking about the game and a message to the fans!

Your product just clinched it’s Kickstarter goal-how does it feel? Is there anything you’d like to say to the Fans?

It’s a huge relief that our Kickstarter was successful, it was looking pretty uncertain for a while there. We’re all looking forward to being able to just concentrate on the game again. I’d like to thank the fans on behalf of Logic Artists for picking up our slack with PR, we know we’ve been pretty bad at spreading the word, so we really appreciate all the help you’ve all given us!

For this who did dole out some dough- how involved will they be in the development process from this point on?

Everybody who pledged to our Kickstarter will receive access to our backer forum within a couple of days, and everybody who gave $30 or more will receive the latest version of our Windows build to try for themselves. We’ll be personally participating in the discussions on the forum, so everyone’s voices will be heard, but of course we will ultimately decide what happens to the game.
Finally, the million dollar questions- when can we finally get hands on this wonderful product?
Expeditions: Conquistador will be released in January 2013. That may not be the end of development on the game, depending on its success, but we can promise you that the first release will happen at that time.
