Capcom has announced a title they had been working on, previously known as Adrift, now known as Remember Me. The stylish looking third person action adventure game is set in Neo Paris, 2084. The main character is an “elite memory hunter” gone rogue who goes by the name of Nilin. The premise of the game is that in this world secrecy for anyone has been completely done away with, however, memories can be bought and sold, and people can pretty much know anything about anyone…for the right price. Nilin’s character was the best of the best when it came to being a memory hunter, until, wouldn’t ya know it, someone wipes her memory and now she is hell bent on figuring out why.
According to Capcom, gameplay style will be unique in the sense that Nilin is not only a physical threat,
but she also has a unique ability that lets her break into people’s minds where she can steal and change
memories. They also have added a very interesting game play feature called “memory remixing” (seen in the video below)
The game is due out during sometime in May of 2013 for the Xbox360, Playstation 3, and PC. Not much
more info was revealed about the project, but it is sure to be a very interesting game by the looks of the
trailers and game play footage. Looking forward to seeing more on this in the coming months.
