What’s that? You haven’t been getting enough Angry Birds in your life? I find that surprising with the plushies, the spin-offs, the key chains, the possible movie in works, the shampoo, the dog tags, the Angry Bird custom syringes filled with Angry Bird custom heroin, but I guess nobody can truly get enough of the wingless mutants because their boxed tittle trilogy just passed the 1 million mark in sales.
I’m sure a lot of people are probably scratching their heads trying to figure out why anyone would bother paying $40 dollars for games that you could download on a smart phone for less money and have the luxury of not having to be in one place to play them, and I am honestly as perplexed as you are. I guess there are a million people who don’t have smart phones or a lot of grandmas just bought their grandchildren the cheapest game for the Xbox they could find at Wal-Mart for Christmas.
Activision has also revealed that the trilogy will be getting a Wii and Wii U release in 2013.
“Angry Birds‘ proven formula for fun and addicting gameplay translated perfectly to the big screen and the consumer response has been overwhelming,” Activision’s VP of sales and marketing Jennifer Mirabelli stated.
