I hope everyone is enjoying April Fools Day, because I’m sure in the hell not! You know how annoying it is having to check every news article I’ve come across today to make sure it isn’t an April fools prank? What if I put up a news articles that turns out to be fake? Then I lose what little integrity I have, Andy probably fires me, my imaginary girlfriend will probably leave me and I won’t be able to use the money I make from this website to feed my crack addiction. But I’m being to serious for April Fools Day, so here is a new game coming out that will put a smile on everyone’s face.
Telltale’s Poker Night 2 is headed to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows PC and Mac via Steam in “late April,” according to Telltale’s official press release. The game will also come to “other platforms to be announced” at a later date, the press release revealed.
This time, players will be playing against Claptrap from Gearbox Software’s Borderlands series, Brock Samson from The Venture Bros., Sam from Sam & Max and Ash Williams from the Evil Dead series, with GLaDOS from Portal being the dealer.
“It’s great to revisit our roots after the success of The Walking Dead,” said Dan Connors, Telltale’s CEO. “People might not know that we have a strong history of humor in our games and players are going to find a lot of laughs in Poker Night 2. Poker Night 2 is another example of our ability to work with phenomenal partners and bring great characters to life in the gaming universe.”
