The latest alumni of Steam’s Greenlight program have been unveiled, in an illustrious list of 18 games and 2 software titles.
The program has “Greenlit” more than 90 titles since it began in August, each one voted into distribution on Steam by the service’s users. This is the sixth batch of winners, and includes Frozen Synapse developer Mode 7 Games’ new futuristic football-based strategy game Frozen Endzone. Also in the list is Death Inc., an RTS game that suffered a setback when its Kickstarter campaign failed to reach even half its established funding goal.
The full list is below:
- Agarest: Generations of War
- Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures
- Battle Worlds: Kronos
- City of Steam
- Dead State
- Dead Trigger
- Death, Inc.
- Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey
- Frozen Endzone
- Legend of Dungeon
- Pinball Arcade
- Planet Explorers
- Rush Bros.
- Shovel Knight
Additionally, game-recording program PlayClaw and strategy game management software GamePlan have both been Greenlit.
The titles will see release in the next few months, with some games potentially arriving early as part of Steam’s Early Access program, which allows buyers to pre-order and play whilst a game is still in beta.
In the meantime, here’s a cheerful taste of Death Inc., via its recently-released trailer:
